Description
A nice holiday home with a lake view located close to Ljungby in Småland. From the cottage you are close to many activities and sights in Småland while you can unwind and relax after the excursion.
In the cottage there is a kitchenette and bunk bed in a room delimited by a curtain. In the living room there is a sofa bed while in the bathroom you have access to a shower and toilet. The water contains a high level of iron, which can lead to sediments in the bathroom.
If you are a large company, you can use the opportunity to rent 4 cottages that are close to each other. The cottages are surrounded by paddocks with grazing animals, eg cows. Here you can rent a boat for SEK 700 per week and in addition 1 pet is welcome in this accommodation. Bed linen can be added prior the stay at a cost of SEK 125 per person and towels for SEK 50 per person. Electricity is added for consumed electricity of SEK 3.5 per kw.
The surroundings have several lakes that offer good fishing, including Bolmen which is Sweden's 10th largest lake. Fishing licenses are purchased at Ifiske.se and here you can find information about which lakes are close by.
Ljungby is not far from the house by car and is a small town that has a lot to offer. Stroll around the Old Town Square, have lunch at one of the town's restaurants or why not visit one of Ljungby's museums, e.g. Ljungsbergmuseet or Sagomuseet. In Ljungby there is also the opportunity to play paddle, mini golf or why not take the opportunity and spend the day at the outdoor and adventure pool.

Nice cottage with a large and lovely terrace with panoramic views of Hängasjön, which is located south of Ljungby in Småland. The cottage has two bedrooms with a double bed in one and a bunk bed in the other. The living room has a sofa bed and there is also a cozy wood burning stove for colder evenings. Firewood can be purchased for SEK 100. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, the water is of high iron content hence sediments in the bathroom. Nearby you can rent four cottages if you are a bigger company and there is also access to boat rental for SEK 700 per week. Things to see and do in Hamneda / Ljungby and the surrounding area The house is 7 km from Hamneda, where there is Bolmen fish where you can eat fresh and good fish and buy smoked fish with you, you can go to Anna's Curiosa antique shop, feed moose at Elinge Älgpark or visit the waffle café Cafe am Park. At Markaryd there is also Smålandet which has a moose safari! Also take the opportunity to have a coffee at Gräddhyllans Lantcafe which is very cozy. Ljungby, which is 27 km from your cottage, has a lot to offer. Restaurants, shopping and many museums such as. The Fairytale Museum and the Sven Ljungberg Museum. There are also plenty of second-hand shops here. Gamla Torg is worth a visit, and Gästgivargården which is a very nice lunch restaurant. In Ljungby there is a swimming pool, outdoor and adventure pool, mini golf and paddle. Outside Ljungby is Lake Bolmen, which is Sweden's 10th largest lake with good fishing and wonderful swimming opportunities. From Norra Bolmsö you can then take the cable car over to Sunnaryd (with your car free of charge). A nice excursion destination is then to drive south and visit Tiraholms Fisk which is located on Bolmen's east side in Halland. Here you will find several cozy farm shops. This nice house is located near Ljungby in Småland. From the cottage's terrace you can view Hängasjön during your holiday and enjoy the tranquility that is here. In addition to relaxation, the house has a great location to explore Småland's activities and attractions! The house is equipped with a kitchenette where you can cook all the holiday meals. In a delimited room with a curtain, there is a bunk bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has both a shower and a toilet, but the water contains high levels of iron which explains some sedimentation in the bathroom. In this house 1 pet is also allowed. Close to each other are 4 cottages that are perfect for rent if you are a larger group who want to spend the holiday together. The cottages are surrounded by paddocks with grazing animals, eg cows.
