Rydaholm - House

Nice holiday home in a fantastic location by Lake Furen. The cottage is individually located 9 km from Bor in Jönköping County. You have your own beach at 300 meters from the cottage. Here is the boat (14 feet) which is included and there is a barbecue area and garden furniture where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. Furen is a very fish-rich lake especially known for its large pikeperch. You can rent a 4 HS engine for SEK 2,000. Do you want to order another boat (14 feet) with 4 HS engine for SEK 3,000. or just a boat without an engine for SEK 1500, that's fine too. There are 2 stroke engines and petrol included. There is a deposit of sek 1,000 if you wish to rent the boat engine.

If you arrive at your holiday home with an electric car, please note that charging is not permitted. It is also not allowed to bring your own boats or motorhome.

In one of the bedrooms upstairs there is also a cozy seating area with a lake view where you can have your evening coffee. Here is also an exercise bike. In the glazed conservatory you also sit nicely with infrared heat that warms well on colder evenings. The cottage is spacious with two floors and an extra shower in the boiler room. You have a large natural plot / garden and proximity to forest and nice hiking trails. You also have a barbecue area on the plot and of course a regular barbecue. In the stream by the house there is a fish cleaning place. A security deposit of SEK 2,000 is charged on the same day as arrival and refunded after approved inspection no later than 3 days after departure . You perform cleaning on departure and do not forget that towels and bed linen are not included but need to be brought.

Things to see and do in Rydaholm and the surrounding area
In Bor there is the nearest store then it is not far to Rydaholm, Värnamo, Ljungby and Växjö. In Rydaholm there is Rydaholm's inn and Småland's car and music and toy museum as well as a nice swimming area by Lilla Helgasjön. It is not far to the fairgrounds Jönköping which is located by Lake Vättern. Here you have a selection of shopping and many nice restaurants by the water. Elmia, which is located in Jönköping, arranges various fairs, and there is also Elmia Wood, which takes place at the beginning of June in Vaggeryd. Also take the opportunity to make an excursion to Gränna and take the ferry over to Visingsö. It is also not far to the wooden town Eksjö and Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby. There are 4 golf courses within a half hour drive. Värnamo Golf Club has a very nice view of Lake Hindsen, then there is a golf course in Alvesta and one in Lagan where you also have a moose park. Värnamo has the art museum Vandalorum which also has a nice lunch restaurant. Rusarebo meadow is a nature reserve between Bor and Värnamo that is worth a visit if you are interested in flowers.

If you are interested in hiking, Store Mosse National Park is only 37 km from your cottage or Isaberg 64 km which also has a lot to offer in summer. If the children want a little excitement, the Western city of High Chaparall is an excursion destination nearby.
